This was my 1st time here and let me tell you I can't wait to go back. The food was amazing the customer service was even better and the astomphere was so enjoyable. Worth every penny.
Everything is always great! Today I had the shrimp and grits, not spicy but seasoned so well! And the grits, so creamy! Mr. had the garbage skillet, and it’s, well, gone!
My 1st time trying this place as I absolutely love breakfast food! Upon entering, my daughter & I was greeted immediately & sat shortly after. I was excited to try the food as there were a lot of patrons who looked like they like good food too! Our order was taken very quickly. S/n: I absolutely loved the Juneteenth decor! The food came out piping hot & very delicious! I ordered the Greek Skillet. I really liked that the hashbrowns had crispy bits throughout. My daughter had the Steak Skillet. I forgot to mention, the prices are very reasonable! With the exception of maybe a little too many green peppers on my daughter's skillet, we were both very satisfied & will def be back! Great job!
I have driven past this place for the longest. Never knew what was inside. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I love the small and intimate vibe. Service was quick and amazing. The first time I went I had shrimp and grits, added bacon and had the shrimp grilled. The grits alone were so delicious and creamy. I returned a week later and had the shrimp fried. Absolutely delish!
Angie’s is a great experience . She literally served us I felt like a VIP . Food was excellent and came out very fast and very hot . My favorite was the steak skillet and the shrimp and grits . Everything was really good . I left full and happy
Absolute best find!! This was my second visit. Found Angie's on the way out of Chicago looking for a breakfast stop. It's an unassuming building, a little off the freeway but it's completely worth a few extra minutes to stop The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. Unlike a lot of diner style stops, the place is also clean and festively decorated. 100% recommend!!
I think the food was fantastic and amazing and everyone should try it at least once. The service was amazing, always checking in on us. Atmosphere was cozy, showed their culture, small place but really nice. I also like the music they have playing. I got the country fried steak and that was amazing. My dad got the Cajun cheesy grits and catfish. I tried it and that was delicious. 10/10
The food was sooo good! The reviews were 4.9. It did not disappoint. It was crowded and I understand why. The restaurant was decorated for Juneteenth. Loved it!!
